FlexiTrace, Sport Biomechanics Lab
FlexiTrace provides personalized full body 2D & 3D motion analysis and brings lab-quality movement analysis to your smartphone.
Challenge
It's hard and sometimes expensive to access labs to get professional tests or to distinguish a disability.
Physiotherapists, Biomechanics Experts, Coaches, Students, and Researchers share the same problem, which makes them our target users.
Results
The challenge of "Hard Access To Laboratory" is a significant concern, limiting professionals' ability to access critical testing and assessments required for accurate biomechanics insights. This issue hinders timely diagnosis, interventions, and progress monitoring, emphasizing the need for innovative solutions that transcend traditional barriers.

My Challenge
Flexitrace was one of the most amazing products I worked on, involving AI and XR. I faced many exciting challenges while working on it. Initially, XR and AI were new to me. Though I had a background in computer science, I started taking classes in mathematics, linear algebra, and matrix operations to better understand. I also watched some courses about XR on Coursera.
Biomechanics in sports was also new to me, so I connected with master's students in this field, asked questions, and learned more about it. I visited various gyms to observe how coaches work with athletes, and I went to universities and had online meetings with professors and doctors to solve problems and identify our product's value proposition.
As a designer, I worked to improve collaboration between the development and design teams by having one-on-one meetings with the CTO and other members. I assisted our PM in keeping the team on the product roadmap. I designed an advanced KIT for designers and worked on the UI/UX with two other designers.
Since we had the technology first and then needed to create usable features for our market, I had to learn more about the market and our physical competitors, like goniometers. For example, I watched over 100 videos to understand how a physiotherapist uses a goniometer on the shoulder, what conditions they consider, their concerns and expectations, and their focus during the process.
Outstanding service, exceptional results—our go-to for all our needs!
